See the Leaves Change

The colorful foliage displays in the mountains of South Carolina normally peak later in the fall season because of South Carolina's warm fall weather. The most brilliant leaf changes usually occur sometime between the end of October and early November making the timing of the George Hincapie Gran Fondo an ideal setting to showcase the roads and area George has grown to love and appreciate.

La Bastide

For years George and Rich Hincapie have ridden past this French country inn and vineyard nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They had always talked about how one day they would love to open a similar facility and combine it with their love of cycling — and now fate his given them their chance. The Inn is located at the start of the best riding in the southeast, with great weather and a vast variety of roads at the base of the mountains.
